Interesting Things

October 14, 2011

While I’m slow going on any sewing progress because of school, I still surf the interwebs and occasionally find some cool stuff:

  • Historically accurate Disney princess outfits, well as accurate as you can get with anything Disney but it’s still really cool all the same for anyone mildly interested in Disney, princesses, or historical clothing.
  • Miss Piggy seems to be everywhere now a days, here is a look at her “style evolution”. She looks pretty creepy in her first debut.
  • So that video called something like 100 years of style in 2 minutes has been floating around for a while with great success (it is awesome), here is an opposite to that – designers in the 1930’s predicting the future of fashion… I don’t know about you but I’m glad we decided not to wear our phones on our chests.
So ya, I’m pretty good at procrastinating work when I need to. Anybody excited for the final episodes of Project Runway? Ya I’m not so much either this year, Anya’s probably going to win just cause she’s so pretty and the judges love everything she does.

Bwahaha, that 1930’s video is so funny! Although some of the predictions aren’t that far off. You going to make your wedding dress from glass?

So, what do you think?
